Hello my fellow blog friends 🙂 I have recently tried a few new products for my New year’s eve look. Below you will see my New year’s eve look.

Below I will list what I used to accomplish this perfect NYE affordable glitter smokey eye look (or any special occassion look). I will also write a review on the products. (sorry about the camera quality. The lighting in my house is not that great.)

1. Revlon photo ready airbrush effect in 004 nude.

This is a great foundation. I did really like it for my new year eve look. However, I did find that it was a bit heavy for a regular everyday look. It also does have shimmer as well making it even harder to wear as an everyday foundation. I will definately keep it for night time looks and special occassions. Does offer great coverage as well, I do have some trouble areas like my cheeks and this covered everything perfectly and flawlessly.

2. Instant age rewind maybelline treatment concealer

I had seen many youtube tutorials and make-up guru’s that swear by this concealer. I however, liked it but didnt love it. The consistency is a bit thick and sticky. At first it does go on smoothly and flawlessly, however throughout the night I noticed it was getting sticky and started to create streaks under my eyes. I don’t really have dark circles or bags under my eyes so I don’t think I need something as heavy as this. I have not been able to find the perfect concealer yet but when I do I will definately blog about it.

3. Fergie wet and wild A035 pink lipstick

Absolutely love this pink lipstick! Can be used as an everyday lipstick as well. It’s just the right shade of pink, not too pink or bright.

4. NYX butter gloss in the color apple strudel BL08

I love this gloss! I actually used it ontop of the Fergie pink lipstick and they look great together as a combination lip color. (to make this lip a little more matte I topped it all off with a translucent powder using one of my makeup brushes).

5. Elf lip exfoliator

This lip exfoliator is a MUST! It is amazing! Leaves your lips smooth and ready for lip color. Nothing is worse than dry lips with lipstick. I encourage you all to to try this exfoliator prior to putting any lip color on. You will thank me! Specially during these winter months.

6. Revlon photoready eye art.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! definately was the WOW factor to my smokey eye. This liner adds a festive twist to any smokey eye for any special occassion. Now it does feel a bit heavy on the eyes specially if you brush on too much glitter. However, I really do love this product. (P.S they were on clearance on target for $4.24) Can’t go wrong there! Haven’t used the all gold part but I will let you know how it goes. 🙂

7. Elf Golden Bronzer

Love love love! I love elf products! This is a grea finishing bronzer to finalize your look. 🙂 Also, has some shimmer that looks great once applied.

8. Elf baked eyeshadow trio (peach please)

I actually used the lighter color as a highlighter. I loved it! The shimmer was the finishing touch to this look! Haven’t used it as an eye shadow yet but I will let you know how it goes.

Well, there you have it! That is my NYE glitter smokey eye look. All these products are drug store products that were not very expensive. You can still achieve that make up guru face with drug store products. No need to break the bank always. Let me know you think and if you try any of these productus let me know how it goes.
